A separate feed format from Property Finder
Running both portals means maintaining two distinct sync integrations, not one feed sent to two destinations.

Rebuild
API INTEGRATION · BAYUT
Bayut is the UAE's other major property portal, owned by the same parent company as dubizzle. Like Property Finder, agencies feed it listings, and most agencies run both feeds simultaneously to maximise reach.
Running both portals from one listing system is where the real problem shows up: the same unit is now feeding two separate external systems with two separate formats and two separate deduplication rules, and a mismatch between them is what actually confuses buyers, not either portal individually.
WHAT ACTUALLY BREAKS
Not marketing copy. What actually goes wrong when this integration is built without knowing it up front.
Running both portals means maintaining two distinct sync integrations, not one feed sent to two destinations.
A unit correctly deduplicated on Bayut and correctly deduplicated on Property Finder can still show conflicting prices between the two if an update does not propagate to both at once.
Contact routing has to know which portal an enquiry came from, since agent assignment rules can differ per channel.
Both portals enforce the same UAE permit number requirements, so validation logic is shared even though the feed formats are not.
A property taken off Bayut but still live on Property Finder, or the reverse, is the most common visible sync failure agencies actually get complaints about.
WHAT WE BUILD
Built to handle the failure modes above by default, not discovered after launch.
PROOF
Not a bolt-on. Part of every real estate listing site here.
With deduplication when the same unit arrives from two sources under different reference numbers, kept in sync across both portals from one listing system.
WHAT IT COSTS
A well-documented API with clean data is a different job from one with none of that.
The honest price depends on how well-documented the API is and how much existing data has to be reconciled during setup. Third-party service costs are billed at cost, never marked up.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
The ones that come up before anyone signs anything.
Most UAE agencies list on both to maximise reach, since buyers and renters split their search between the two portals rather than using only one.
It should not, and the sync is built specifically to prevent it: a price change propagates to both portals at once rather than updating one and leaving the other stale.
It can, if the agency's assignment rules differ per channel. The integration tracks which portal an enquiry came from so that routing logic can apply.
