Referral over open listing
There is no open-roles board because we hire rarely enough that one is not needed. Most hires come through people already on the team.

CAREERS · HOW WE HIRE
Most companies publish a list of open roles and a multi-stage interview funnel to fill them. We hire rarely enough that neither exists here in the usual form: no open-roles board, and no standard funnel run the same way for every discipline.
What follows is not a process diagram, because there is not a fixed one to publish. It is what we actually weigh when a hire does happen.
WHAT ACTUALLY GETS EVALUATED
Not a step-by-step process. What we are actually looking for.
There is no open-roles board because we hire rarely enough that one is not needed. Most hires come through people already on the team.
The newest person on the team has seven years in their discipline. We are not evaluating potential, we are evaluating a track record.
What someone has actually built and can speak to in detail is weighted far more heavily than a list of past employers.
WHY NO OPEN-ROLES LIST
The same position the careers page states directly.
A published open-roles board implies a pipeline running continuously, which is not how this team grows. When a role genuinely opens, it will be listed. In the meantime, a message to hello@gigagrams.com describing what you do and where you have done it is read, whether or not a vacancy exists to apply against.
One tap, then your app opens with it written.
