Rebuild
SPEED RESCUE · 3–5 DAYS
Almost every slow site is slow for the same small number of reasons. Uncompressed images, a render-blocking script, caching left at its defaults, and plugins doing overlapping work.
A speed rescue finds and fixes those specific causes on the site you already have. If the platform itself turns out to be the ceiling, we say so before doing further work rather than after billing for it.
WHAT WE FIX
Each one is handled at the source, not patched over with a caching plugin that hides the symptom.
Converted to WebP or AVIF and resized to the dimensions they actually display at, not the dimensions they were uploaded at.
Anything blocking the page from painting gets deferred, removed, or loaded only once the visitor asks for it.
Static assets cached for a year, HTML revalidated on every request, and Cloudflare doing the work it is capable of doing.
Two caching plugins fighting each other, or two SEO plugins both writing meta tags, is a common finding. Removing the overlap speeds the page and removes an attack surface at the same time.
MEASURED, NOT CLAIMED
A full rebuild, not a rescue, but the same underlying causes.
Every score links to a live PageSpeed test. We have no control over the result.
WHAT IT COSTS
Scope moves the number more than the service name does.
A four-page brochure site and a two-hundred-page catalogue do not cost the same to fix, even under the same service name. Every speed rescue is scoped in writing before anything starts, usually once the free technical audit has identified the specific causes. Third-party services are billed at cost. We do not mark up other people's software.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
The ones that come up before anyone agrees to anything.
We rebuilt a booking site from a 4.1MB WordPress page scoring 31 to a static site scoring 100 on PageSpeed mobile, measured 9 October 2026. That is a rebuild, not a rescue, but it shows the ceiling. A rescue on a site with a sound foundation typically gets close, without replacing the platform underneath it.
No. A speed rescue is scoped to load time and the specific causes behind it — images, scripts, caching and dead weight. Design, content and functionality stay exactly as they are unless you ask us to change something separately, in a separate piece of scoped work.
We say so before doing the work. Optimising images and scripts buys real speed on a sound foundation, but if the platform itself is the bottleneck, a rescue only buys a few months before the slowness returns. That is when a rebuild is the honest answer, and only then.
Three to five days from the moment we have access to the site, depending on how many pages and how many separate causes are involved. You get a before-and-after PageSpeed score you can test yourself once it ships, not just our word that it is faster.
The free technical audit measures page weight, PageSpeed score and the specific elements costing you the most. Two days, no charge, no obligation.
Speed rescue sits alongside three other scoped fixes for a site you already have.
