Post-quantum encryption is designed to hold against attacks by quantum computers. It is for data that has to stay private for years after it is sent.
Layers around the data
WHY IT MATTERS NOW
Encrypted data does not have to be broken the day it is sent. It can be copied, kept and tried again later.
A message, a file or a call leaves one device for another, encrypted on the way.
An attacker cannot read it today, but can copy the encrypted data and keep it.
Encryption made only for today’s computers may not hold against one.
Designed to hold against that attack, for data that has to stay private for years.
HOW WE BUILD IT
Post-quantum encryption is part of the encryption we build, never a replacement for the basics.
Post-quantum encryption is designed to hold against attacks by quantum computers, not only by the computers of today.
Data is encrypted while it moves and while it sits on a disk, by default on every system we build.
Every platform passes stress tests before it goes live.
We never call encryption unbreakable. We say what it is designed for and where it stands today.
WHERE IT STANDS
Each line as it is today. A plan is called a plan.

| Every build | Encryption in transit and at rest, by default, regardless of budget. |

STRAIGHT ANSWERS
What it is, why it matters now, and where it stands.
Post-quantum encryption is encryption designed to hold against attacks by quantum computers, as well as by the computers of today. It matters most for data that has to stay private for years, because encrypted data recorded today could be read later by a quantum computer if the encryption was made only for today’s machines.
Because data can be recorded now and read later. An attacker who cannot read encrypted traffic today can still copy it and keep it. If that data has to stay private for years, the encryption has to hold for years too, including against the computers that arrive in that time.
Post-quantum encryption is part of the encryption we build. On Secureline, our platform for business calls, video and messages, it is part of the encryption plan, and its status is Planned. Secureline is in its final build before testing.
No, and we will not call it that. No completely secure system exists, and we publish measures instead of guarantees. Post-quantum encryption is designed to hold against attacks by quantum computers. It is one layer, beside sign-in protection, monitoring inside systems and encryption in transit and at rest.
